Welcome to The Commons at Glencliff, a Nashville-based congregation of the United Methodist Church. Together, we seek to build beloved community through respite housing and practices of faith that are rooted in mercy and justice.

We meet on Sundays at 11AM — we meet both in person at the Glencliff Commons (our church building) and online–join us wherever you prefer. Visit our Facebook page for links. NOTE: The first and third Sundays of each month we gather for worship in the Sanctuary. The other Sundays we meet in the Fellowship Hall for discussion.

What to expect

Glencliff is a mission congregation of The United Methodist Church, meaning we are small group of people moving with purpose for reaching and transforming our community. Our gatherings might feel a little more like a family gathering than a high church worship service.

We talk openly about the issues of our community and our participation in them. We are unashamed in our pursuit of justice and dignity for all. We are in constant search for Christ’s leading in our lives.

We are a member of The United Methodist Church in connection with all UMC’s around the world.
